Deronda Neighborhood Watch Alert

Yesterday morning, just above 3327 Deronda, I cleaned up a T-shirt with what looked like sweaty, lightly bloody stains and three used condoms (plus wrapper) and an empty pack of Marlboros, which where strewed on the west side of the street. Also, at the beginning of this week in the same place, I found two empty beer bottles. In the past, at night I have called Post Alarm when seeing strange cars stop there, frequently appearing to share smoking apparatus.

Post patrol comes up and scares the bejesus out of these people. It's always my hope that this will give our area a reputation of being patrolled and unsafe for this type of behavior. While it seemed to have worked, these activities are slowly recurring.

We need to be more vigilant. If any of you see these sorts of things, please report them to either Post Alarm (626) 446 9874 or the Police non-emergency line: (877) 275 2773.

If we don't do anything, this area is potentially going to become the 'go to' place to party. We don't want our neighborhood to become a night time party destination with the inevitable increase in crime and fire danger.
