Quick update: Fire dispatch informs us that the helicopters and search lights are necessary to look for a lost hiker in Griffith Park. Nothing to worry about and please don't feel you need to help by turning on extra yard lights. Their search lamps will do the trick.
Also, Westshire neighbors, we will be contacting the city to get your street lights turned on. They have been off for a few nights now.
