Top Supergraphic Businessman Arrested

$1 million is the bail for Kayvan Setareh for posting a supergraphic on the historic building at Hollywood and Highland thanks to City Attorney Carmen Trutanich.

According to L.A. Times Reporter, David Zahniser, this arrest comes less than a week after the city attorney filed a separate lawsuit involving more than a dozen other supergraphics scattered across the city.

Beachwood Canyon Neighborhood Association board member, George Abrahams submitted a study of several miles of the 101 Freeway where he observed illegal supergraphics placed close to or right on onramps and offramps. Trutanich received this report and has been working with George on enforcement.

Setareh is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow (Monday). You can read the full L.A. Times report at:

Good work, neighbors who called in protest of this 8-story high supergraphic in the heart of our Hollywood neighborhood!

Hiker Lost in Griffith Park
Emergency vehicles raced through Beachwood Canyon Sunday (today) at around 2:15 p.m. from a cell call from a lost hiker in Griffith Park. We'll keep you posted on the outcome. We know how scary it is to hear all these sirens in our neighborhood. This will probably be televised since the helicopters have joined in.
