Lake Hollywood Report view from road The East Perimeter Road opened Thursday, August 6th, at 8 am.  Councilman LaBonge was there and lead the march through the gate followed by many locals, the media and L.A.D.W.P. officials. Both the Tahoe and the Weidlake gate are now open. The hours of operation of the East Perimeter Road will return back to the original seasonal schedule on Friday, August 7th.  Current seasonal hours are 6:30 am to 7:30 pm through the month of August.

The West Perimeter Road will continue to remain closed due to the landslide on the west.  The repairs on the western slopes are scheduled to be completed by Spring 2011.

Here's a view on the walk back from the Dam. Finally neighbors can enjoy a healthy walk or bike ride without traffic and pollution - in nature. Thanks LADWP and Council District 4 for making this all possible.

Tired of the massive retaining walls? Do you believe as we do that good design should compliment the terrain, not invade it? The Hollywoodland Homeowners Assn and the Beachwood Canyon Neighborhood Assn are fighting a plan to build a large house using many retaining walls. We are trying to preserve and protect this community. We need you.

Please attend the hearing of the Area Planning Commission on August 11, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. We are first on the agenda. Car Pool if you can. Call us if you need a ride (323-462-1514).
