Beachwood Canyon celebrates inauguration in the Village
 
Yes, neighbors in our canyon got together in the Village to watch our new President Obama take the oath of office Tuesday, January 20th, 2009. There were around 40 of us watching a large screen tv courtesy of neighbor, Eda Hallinan. It was Eda's idea that we all experience this together and what a grand concept! Later that afternoon, neighbors gathered again, and gather and gathered till late in the evening. They watched the various coverage as the President danced with the First Lady and spoke at several inaugural balls. Beachwood Canyon Neighborhood Association members made sure there was plenty to eat and drink. Neighbors brought goodies to add and it was a night to remember. Here's what the L.A.
