Inauguration Day in Beachwood Village

Greetings Everyone:

I am so thrilled about watching the coming Inaugural for our new President and thought it would be even better watching it as a
Community. We are all so busy that I'm just throwing out this idea to see if anyone else feels the same way.

Jeff Meyer of Hollywoodland Watch has agreed to let us bring TV cable
thru his store -- from Christina Hutton's apartment upstairs-and I will bring a TV. I'm sure someone has chairs and the Cafe has coffee (or bring a thermos).

It is a Morning Ceremony here (9 a.m.) because it begins at 12 p.m. in
Washington DC.

The inaugurals Balls begin in the late afternoon (5 ish). We can come back to the Village and watch again.  Shoot-I want to see what Michelle is wearing....and watch them dance, don't you!!

Let's have our own Pot Luck Inaugural snack party.

Most importantly...we need a techie. If we can 'throw the picture' up against the Market Wall.....once it is dark, we could see it on a 'bigger screen'.  Anyone know how to do that? Or any other ideas?

Let me know...

Hi neighbors,

This Petition has had NO Press and is all grass roots! Hope you can help it explode, as it is so important to our country:

http://www.petitiononline.com/esnyc/petition.html

In the last 24 hours there has been 18,000 signatures. We are the only country that does not have a ranking government position for culture/arts. Can you consider signing, pass it on and ask others to do so? This is what Hollywood is all about-Arts and Culture

Thanks,
