It is Earth Day....

PRAISE TO YOU, my God and Creator!
Your creativity is matched by your compassion!
Today is a new day in the life of creation.
Let me see and hear,
taste, touch, and smell
the thrill of your grace
the pulse of the Spirit
in and through all creation.

Are You Going to Foodland?
....SPAM's on sale...
 resurrection
     SPAM's on sale at Foodland for $1.69 a can (limit 3) - it's $2 a can at Costco.

If you happen to be shopping this week, why not grab a few cans for Central Middle School Prayer Breakfast or to sweeten the gift to Hawaii Food Bank?
bball
BASKETBALL!!
In the last 3 years of our prayer breakfast for Central Middle School, and over 4 years of afternoon basketball for neighborhood kids, we've only lost 2 balls to wear and wanting...

If you happen to be someplace and see playground or street basketballs, the kids would really appreciate having 2 more.

Can you buy a few basketballs for
our ministry to the neighborhood?
How can we pray for you?
prayers
A mark of God's people and the life we share is that we hold with faith the knowledge that God hears us and acts on our behalf.

Each week we remember those in need, in sickness, in grief, etc.  We also hold up specifically each week 5 households of our community - the Parish Prayer Cycle.  If you are going to be on the parish prayer cycle in the coming week, you will receive a postcard inviting you to help us in our prayers for you by sharing thanksgivings, intercessions, or needs.

Whether on the prayer cycle or some other need, we hope that you'll allow us to make specific prayers for you.

call in prayers (533-3221) or email (prayers@stpetershonolulu.org)

While Fr. Bill ... will receive the message and your specific intentions - unless you specify otherwise - the whole community will offers prayers, by name only, for you upon you, and with you throughout the week, especially during Sunday worship, Monday Morning Prayers, and Wednesday Healing Service.
Building with Living Stones of Faith
stones     Come to him, a living stone, though rejected by mortals yet chosen and precious in God's sight, and like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
For it stands in scripture:
'See, I am laying in Zion a stone,
   a cornerstone chosen and precious;
will not be put to shame.'
1 Peter 2:4-6
