10,724....AND COUNTING!!! For our goal of gathering the real and equivalent to 10,000 cans of food...that's right...as of this Sunday....we've surpassed it. And donations and giving is still happening! A wonderful surprise has been that for any monies donated before April 30, an outside donor has pledge to match funds for the Hawaii Food Bank. CONGRATULATIONS to the young adults of the parish and Mike Woods for leading us in this fantastic example of stewardship and the power that every member offers to extend the love of Jesus and work of God through St. Peter's. If you still want to make contributions to our Lenten and Easter project, please bring your contributions to the church before the close of Wednesday. More information and pictures will be shared in the Eastertide edition of the newsletter. The over $4000 gathering for Hawaii Food Bank also represents more than the standard direct giving or ministry in support of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals - an international effort for global relief support by the National and Diocesan Church.

Building with Living Stones of Faith
Come to him, a living stone, though rejected by mortals yet chosen and precious in God's sight, and like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it stands in scripture: 'See, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious; will not be put to shame.' 1 Peter 2:4-6
