Don't Miss or Forget -
Celebrating God's Love and Getting into God's Mission....
THIS SUNDAY! - RALLY for Mission
"Mission" means that we see that God calls us to turn.... our lives of faith outward to the world and not inward to a religious club
our lives of action to be shaped and sent as people of God and not programs of an institution
our lives of love to be expressions of the blessing and celebration of God working in our lives and the world
Since We Rallied for Formation Last Sunday - Let's Get Movin' Don't forget that we begin our new season of growing in our faith, understanding, and commitment as followers of Jesus. So, take the chance to grow and allow God to shape your heart and life:
Sunday School Begins - 9am: Bring your kid, grandkid, the neighbors kid, the kid you see at breakfast, the kid you see on the street....3 years old to middle school. Solomon's Porch - 8:30am (between a.m. worship gatherings): we're exploring the intersection of our lives as citizens in the world and citizens of God's kingdom and holy people. Small Groups - Fr. Bill and Mike are happy to assist you in forming your own small group that meets your desired ways to discover the life God offers and calls us to share. Reading Lists - Can't fit Sunday mornings in? Check out suggested readings from the Parish Reading List and Bishop's Reading List.
Giving Thanks to God!! - Mahalo nui loa to all that have responded to God's presence and work in their lives by making a pledge for the mission and ministry of God to expand through St. Peter's. We invite all members and participants in our ohana and community to share in demonstrating our response to God's abundance and commitment to God's call of mission by submitting an annual pledge card for your ministry and financial stewardship. Extra cards available in the Church. It's not too late!
The SWEEPS of the Spirit of God - Every Member Everyday in Every Way is to be a part of God's church on mission at St. Peter's. Live into your part of our faith by sharing in the SWEEPS mission disciplines (Service...Worship...Evangelism...Education...Parish Life... Stewardship). Come on Sunday - see and hear more about how we share in God's movement in the world.
