Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. Collect for Sunday closest to Nov. 16. Book of Common Prayer, p 236.

It's right in front of you.... Fr. Bill continues our Sermon Series It Makes a Difference exploring the transformation God brings through the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Last Sunday, Fr. Bill called us to open our eyes and hearts to see God in our midst. It is so easy to be caught up and focused on our lives, missing how God is already present. One example Fr. Bill referenced was Gene Weingarten's Pulitzer Prize winniner feature called "Pearls Before Breakfast". You can read the article and see the videos of people commuting to work and passing by the international violinist Joshua Bell playing in the DC Metro. read the article and see the clips here.
