The S-1200/1200U have 7.1 channels of high resolution
audio output for maximum system performance.
Two digital signal processors (DSPs), Crystal CS497004s
operating at 300mps, are employed to perform all surround
mode processing.
The S-1200/1200U decodes Dolby True HD and DTS
HD Master Audio lossless surround formats over
HDMITM 1.3, Dolby Digital Surround EX, Dolby Digital
5.1, DTS 6.1ES, DTS 5.1, DTS NEO:6, Dolby Pro Logic
II processing as well as, plus 9 proprietary Krell Music
Surround modes.
On Screen Display set-up and status is available on all
video outputs, all the time, including up conversion (S-
1200U only) through component and HDMI progressive
outputs. Any analog SD or HD video may be converted
to 1920 x 1080p/60Hz via the HDMI output or
1080p/30Hz via component video.

Three digital signal processors coupled with our most advanced up-sampling software,
DigiMaster™ 1.4, churn out an astounding 2.8224 million samples per second at a
theoretical 26 bits of resolution. DigiMaster allows us to generate this amazing amount
of data with accuracy both in the frequency and (particularly) in the time domain.
Why is this important? When accuracy in the time domain is achieved the resulting
3-dimensional sonic image leaves you with the uncanny feeling of being there.
