Southern LIving's Tastiest Town VOTE - Lafayette 2012

The Southern Living "Tastiest Town in the South" contest continues through January 31. An intense social media campaign has taken place over the past few weeks in order to get the vote out for Lafayette.

The Louisiana Tourism Summit will be held in Shreveport January 24-26. Visit www.ltpa.org for more information.

Planning for the "EatLafayette" campaign began this month. Once again the campaign will begin on the Monday after Father's Day and will last until August 15. The opening night kick-off is scheduled to be held at the Acadiana Center for the Arts on June 14.

BBurrelle's/LUCE has calculated that the equivalent ad costs for articles run on Acadiana in the United States during 2011 had a value of $5,222,111.
