LCVC Meeting Planner Luncheon
LCVC Staff News

LCVC is currently into the 18 month process of spending the $235,150.12 that was allocated as Lafayette Parish's share of the BP funds.

The last of the $244,000 that was awarded to the Acadiana Tourism Coalition has been almost completely allocated.

Lafayette hosted the SATW Central States Chapter Meeting May 18-22. Over 90 members of the Central States Chapter participated in this event and all went extremely well. Gerald Breaux, Executive Director, was presented with the Betty Blake and Elmer Whiddon Award at the meeting.

Congratulations to the 20 organizations that were chosen to receive the Visitor Enterprise Funds. One hundred sixty thousand dollars was awarded this year, which brings the total to over $2.2 million since the program began 14 years ago.
