What Peace Corps Volunteer doesn't secretly dream of returning to their Peace Corps country as the Country Director? What would it be like? 200 More Volunteers Needed to Host Global House Parties!
We had so much fun last year, we've decided to make the Global House Parties an annual event on September 22! What better way to find RPCVs in your area -- and celebrate the 51st anniversary of the signing of the Peace Corps Act -- than to host a party? We'll give you the tools and help spread the word. You bring the food, your Peace Corps enthusiasm, and your sweet dance moves. This year the Global House Parties are part of our special effort to Find the 250K. We are asking every house party host to collect a $10 donation from each guest so that the National Peace Corps Association can build the largest group of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers in the world. We can't do it without your help! Your participation is critical for us to build a Peace Corps Community that has a stronger voice for advocacy, more support for community projects, and a larger community for finding jobs and new friends.
Fifty people have already signed up to host. Check out the locations here to find a party near you. Don't see your city listed? Why not host one yourself?
