New Site Launch for Global Connections

GC header

Since last month's announcement about the progress of our Global Connections program, a new site has been launched that allows for easier navigation of the Global Connections materials. Some of the new features include:
  • Search and Browse functions - Now you can search by keyword or phrase as well as look through archives of past articles by category
  • Teacher's Guide - A section that consolidates tips for using Global Connections materials, online resources and study questions, and US national standards
  • Translate - This tool allows readers to click on a word to see its equivalent in French, German, Italian, Portugese, or Spanish, as well as an English definition
The Global Connections materials are designed to be used in a variety of ways within existing lesson plans, so it is never too late to sign up and receive these features on a weekly basis free of charge!

For more information about the Global Connections program or to sign up, visit our website or email teachnet@peacecorpsconnect.org.
