Royers' 2010 Pie-Cation is over... what a blessed & wonderful break is was for the fam! So begins our 2011 24th Year-Pie-Run with much on the cafe's Pie-Plate! We are so grateful for the support of so many who have brought us to the dance and have stayed at the dance with us! This quote says so much .....

**** Check out the cafe's newest piece of art ... our new sign (the pic up above .... no, not the little one that Bud is holding!)
We commissioned this piece of art a year ago to be created by Sundie & Brad Ruppert (and kids!) of VINTAGE SCULPTURE in Iowa. The Rupperts have set-up at Marburger Farm Antique Show for a good number of years & we love their STUFF!!! We are so proud of this addition to the cafe's walls ... yes, the inside walls are pretty full so we have to think outside of the cafe!

(and Rick) to have her baby! Suppose to induce Bentley Jaxon on Wednesday morning, Jan. 19th! WAWAWEEWA.... That will be the 6th Royer grandkid.... 4 boys & 2 girls!
**** 2011 is "The Year of the Pie!" So pie is the "hot new trend for the year".... as if you needed to be told that .... but heck, we'll take it and run with it! Listen to the Jan. 2nd broadcast on NPR. Just one of the numerous articles written about this "new trend!"
****   This is SO WAY, WAY COOL .... Royers Pies in Kuwait!!! This pic brought tears in our eyes.... oh the "power of pie" that comes out of this little cafe in Round Top, pop. 77 ... is pretty AWESOME!
These guys are holding one of Ann's Pecan Pies that they received as a gift for the holidays!
