MAKE YOUR JULY 4th PLANS TO BE WATCHING THE PARADE IN ROUND TOP!!!  This is the 159th celebration of July 4th in Round Top, which is the longest continual celebration west of the Mississippi. There will be over 5,000 folks lined around the square & you best get in town by 9:30. The parade starts at 10am and is over by 11am....you then eat the cafe's  SUNDAY FRIED CHICKEN [we also serve the whole café menu & we are open at the end of the parade until 6pm. On Monday we'll be open 11-3].
So by 1:00 you are done eating and can go back to the city & continue to celebrate or going to the awesome PATIOTIC CONCERT AT FESTIVAL HILL at 3pm.
