PLAYGROUND PROJECT
is a documentary film that Karen & I had the privelege of recently viewing in Austin. The film deals head-on with childhood sexual trafficking in the US... not Asia but right here in our country! Over a million young children, ages 5 to 10, are caught in this evil world  yearly! And 30% of these are in the States! 
This film is being featured at this year's Tribeca Film Festival.
Please take 5 minutes to watch the trailer. It's not graphic but it is the disturbing truth of the real world we line in.

fyi ~ Matt Sheppherd is the young man from Houston that founded I AM CHANGE & HYDRATE HOPE. Two well conceived non-profits that create an awareness of global needs and atrocities and then create avenues of action to engage those.

**Jb & Jamie are having a girl, July 4th, so we only have a few months to get ready for the next one! And they're moving to Brenham....BIG CHANGES! JB is going to be sharing the load of running the cafe with Tara & Rick.

hank in alamode t-shirt**Our good Hank from Tennessee just sent us a pic of him wearing our REMEMBER THE ALAMODE t-shirt when he was in Antarctica in February.  IT SURE KEPT HIM WARM!!!??? 
 
**We have two new pies on the menu. One is a Blueberry with a granola topping & the other is a Key Lime Buttermilk. The Key paige's wedding pieLime is the handiwork of JB & Rick. We'll be adding it to the Cafe's Mail Order Pie List!!!! SO BE SWEET AND SEND MOTHER A PIE FOR MOTHER'S DAY! Do it now and get over with......
