We are in the midst of summertime in Round Top and all that comes with the summer...concerts at Festival Hill, Fourth of July Parade, Shakespeare plays at Winedale, the and caterings in Austin, Houston, Round Top, & up to Dallas!
Festival Hill's Patriotic Concert @ 3PM on Sunday, June 29 ~ This is an awesome family event to come and enjoy along with a meal at the cafe! Go to FestivalHill.org and make your plans!July 4th Weekend ~ Regular weekend hours.  July 4th Round Top Parade ~ This is the longest continually celebration of July 4th west of the Mississippi, 159 years! The parade starts on the square at 10am and is over by 10:45am, the key is being on the square by 9:30 or you will most likely not be able to find a spot to watch it. Over 5,000 come to it every year, rain or shine! The cafe is open all day from 11-9 so make your plans to watch it and enjoy a meal! Cafe Hours ~ Thur - Sat 11-9 & Sun 11-7 (we'll be open on Sundays till 7:00 pm until August 10th & then we'll be open until 3:00 pm).Micah Royer ~ Is working for the Tim Whitten law office in Austin specializing in family law. He is really enjoying serving folks! Pretty cool!
Dr. Karen ~ She is now a full time psyco-therapist dealing with sexual abuse, pornography, sexual addictions, & infidelity. She works with Crossroads Counseling in Austin, near Mesa & Steck. She is PRETTY AWESOME doing a GREAT JOB!!! office 512-346-9299 LIZZY LOU'S TIJUANA TAXI ART CAR!

of the most photographed items in Round Top! It is such a creative

DR. K'S GRADUATION, CAFE'S 20TH ANNY (a year later!) & CAFE EXTENDED-FAM REUNION WAS SUCH A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE!!!
The day was a very magical time, an experience which was so memorable for us and those that joined us for the day. A wonderful diverse group of over 350 cafe patrons showed up throughout the day, most of which drove out from Houston & Austin. The day turned into a music fest that moved our souls and hearts. From Kevin Carroll (Charlie Robison's lead guitarist) to Houston's Salvation Army Harbor Light Men's Choir which brought smiles to everyone's face and a clapping of hands! Then, JJ Plasecio, playing his bass guitar as a lead guitar, blew us away with a medley of Amazing Grace, The Star Spangled Banner, & Somewhere Over The Rainbow! You just had to be there to believe it! Folks still are talking about Hannibal Lokumbe, jazz trumpeter, BLEW HIS HEART AWAY sending chills down backs on a hot afternoon!!!! The day was brought to a close with Frank Hilbolt's Jack Rowe Band playing favorite oldies. Oh yes, over $5000 was raised in the silent auction benifitting the Round Top Vol. Fire Department & SAFEPLACE, Austin's Women's Domestic
Violence Center. And what was cool wonderful about this auction is that all the donations were from cafe patrons!
Another Royer party and memory! Thanks Tara for doing such an unbelievable job of making this such an awesome experience! Th whole family is so proud and so grateful for all her leadership and her efforts to make a happening!
