"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns."

                                                                                                                                                   -George Eliot

Fall has always been my favorite season and I love the 'shoulder' that is September. Still clinging to the warmth and sun of Summer, cooling off at night and even the warmest days have a crisp undertone. Change is everywhere, and I love that the cycles of life are more pronounced this time of year than the rest, at least it seems that way to me.

I know the newsletter is a week later than usual and I am sure you can see the different look to it. I have been putting off publishing the newsletter so that we could unveil the new web site! Ta Da! What do you think? Of course, there is always more to do and this being the first newsletter I will tweak them in the future, as I am not at all happy with how this looks, but at least I got it out! I like the site changes, I was going for lighter and simpler, perhaps a bit more modern; did I do it? Tell me what you think, I am anxious to hear your feedback on this labor of love of mine. Check it out, read the blog, check out the events and play with all the pages. If you hover your mouse over the top menu buttons you can see that there are more options hiding within the layers.

We have had so much change in the cafe this year, with the painting/redecoration, the computer system, the web site, and more! We are all learning to embrace the changes as they come, as we remain excited to see what comes next. I know that isn't easy for everyone to do and I admire our team for their resilience and flexibility these past months, as they have had their own personal changes as well. I am honored to work with this wonderful group and we all know how fortunate we are to have each of you in our customer family. Thank you all so much for your continued support, we really do appreciate you!

We can't wait to see you here! ~Monica
