Once again I find myself pondering all that I am blessed with and the abundance of love in my life. You voted us 'Best Bakery, Central Kitsap' for the FIFTH year in a row! We are so humbled by your show of love.
Our catering calendar in December is beginning to fill in, better than it did last year, and for that, too, we are extremely grateful.
And most of all, I have so much gratitude that this month marks 1 year since my dad had prostate cancer removed from his body. He is healthy and happy and his several follow up tests have all come back 0! Since then Mark's dad was also treated for prostate cancer and so far that has also been successful. Please read the 'How Can I Help' section at the bottom of the newsletter to see what we are doing to raise awareness this month.
One other brand new thing that I am very grateful for is our new menu page!
I am giddy with delight that we are able to show off each of our local farmers, food growers, producers and suppliers in this really neat format! I am sure I have missed some, though I will get them on there eventually. If you are a farmer that sells to us, and I left you off, let me know!
When Cara from Real Time Farms contacted me to be one of the first restaurants in Washington to be a part of this blossoming enterprise, I jumped at the chance! The version that I have up right now is not quite the final version, though I could not help but share it with you. Keep checking back for the updates. The girls agree that this is the coolest addition to our site in a long time, and we hope that you love playing with it to see where your food comes from.
We can't wait to see you here!

Statistics show that it is not a matter of 'IF' a man will get this treatable-when-caught-early cancer, but 'WHEN'.
Every man who lives long enough is likely to get it.
Please get it checked.
Come in to Monica's ANY time this month and let us know you are sporting a mustache for Movember ...and we are equal opportunity so if you are a woman, you can come in and tell us who you encouraged to get checked for prostate cancer!
If you don't have a card, we will give you one with 150 points already on it.
Grow a 'stache this month! Encourage men you love to get checked! Eat FREE at Monica's! How cool is that??
My dad's a survivor (and my father in law and several other family & friends). I want yours to be one, too.
