Thank you to each and every one of you who helped me celebrate my birthday! It was a wonderful couple of days and it would not have been the same without you.
I am truly blessed with an abundance of love in my life and I hope that everyone can enjoy celebrating with loved ones, at least once a year. It is SO fun! This month will be Mark's and my 20th wedding anniversary, and we have another party planned. We hope to see you here!
September is upon us and Labor Day (no more wearing white!) and we will be entering into harvest season. There are a few events around harvest in the next couple of months and as the farmers markets bring in their fall bounty there will be lots of great local food to enjoy! Check them out and see what is delicious!

Thurs Sept 8, 6 pm-Remembering 9/11 Together Central Kitsap High School's Memorial Event for Our Community begins at 6 pm CKHS’s Southworth Theater, 3700 Anderson Hill Road, Silverdale.

Here is one small way:
It's back to school time and right here in Kitsap County there are nearly 600 homeless kids, Plus thousands of low-income, foster, and other children in need, who could really use some help getting supplies. Bring your donations to Monica's we will make sure they get to our children in need.
You may have items in your closet, or could go to the dollar store and pick a few things up...Backpacks are the hot ticket item! Every child deserves a decent bag or pack to carry their books in. Paper, pens and pencils, erasers, water based markers, pencil sharpeners, scissors, glue, glue sticks, rulers, calculators, folders, notebooks, binders, tape, construction paper, index cards, crayons, highlighters, back packs, shoes, socks, underwear, coats, scarves, gloves, lunch boxes, water bottles, and all clothing... and anything else you can think of.
Every little thing helps our children in need start their first day of school with the same pride and excitement as all the other kids. They don't deserve anything less!
Please bring these items in sooner than later, though we will NEVER turn donations away, someone can always use it!
