We have big 'doings' this month and I have is so much to tell you about: for instance the big Summer news is that our full dinner service begins THIS WEEK!
Have you given us your feedback at www.HospitalityListens.com and are you wondering why we are doing this? We are on the road to becoming an official and certified 'Place of Hospitality', and in order to offer you the best service possible, we need to know how you think we are doing! Your opinion is the only thing that matters to us, and we really do want to hear it all so that we can always learn and grow.
Please do give us your feedback, as often as you would like to, and once a month we will draw someone to win a complementary meal for 4 people!
Pam Zahm won last month and she loved it!
I am honored to have won a scholarship from Seattle Chef's Collaborative to attend the Quillisascut Farm School, for 1 week at the end of July. I will be part of a group of culinary professionals learning about food from the seed to the stove (and their wood-fire oven!) I will be milking goats and making cheese from the milk, harvesting honey and all manner of produce, and even learning some butchery. I will learn new ways to cook all the beautiful food that is grown in the region.
I am SO EXCITED! You will benefit from all I learn when I bring back a renewed energy and fresh ideas.
We would love to take you all on our food & wine tours in Italy! Since we can't do that, we created day trip tours here that are similar to things we do in Italy, and where you CAN go with us! Finnriver farms was so popular last year we are offering to take you there again for a gourmet day of carefree enjoyment.
We can't wait to see you here, we know you will love what we're doing for you!

The homeless population from one corner of the county to the other has said that they need the ability to take showers. That they can't put their best foot forward looking for employment or going to college, or sending their children off to school, looking and feeling less than clean. They long to be able to stand in a shower like they used to and feel 'human' again.
