Meet the Winemaker event on:

Thanks to Doumina Whyman, SmallVineyardsTravel.com, we welcome you to meet 2 of our favorite wine-makers from Italy: Federico Stella from Poderi Elia in Nieve (Piedmont) and Nini Palama from Azienda Vinicola Palama in Salento (Puglia) will be here for one night only! This is a rare opportunity to meet these wine-makers and we are the ONLY venue on the Peninsula to be able to offer you this opportunity.
From the north we bring you Poderi Elia (you may remember the Dachshund, Tom, on the bottles) and tonight you will taste Federico Stella's classically styled Barbera d'Alba, a fine example of this wonderful wine type, and his big Barbaresco.
For those of you joining us in Italy Federico's vineyard is one of our stops on the food and wine tour, so this is a quick preview for you!
Nini Palama is the 3rd generation of his family to make wine in the 'boot heel' of Italy. Tonight you will taste his Negroamaro & Salice Salentino which are known as premium examples of this region's wines.
Of course there will also be a few thing to nibble to go with these fabulous wines! Tasting wines with the wine-maker is exciting because it is a unique occurrence. You will be transported to Italy for one night of magic and wine and we can't wait to see you here!
