June is here and I can feel everyone gearing up for summer. With an average temp of 61 and lows in the 50's most of us are ready for sandals every day!
We have some great things planned for you this summer season and personally I am really hoping it doesn't get anywhere near the high temperatures of last year!
So many of you have expressed to me how deeply you wish you could go to Italy with us, and so we have created Day Trips around our area that we hope you can join us for. These trips are in the spirit of our Italy tour as they focus on local farms, food, wine and entertainment, and they are opportunities to get away from it all, if only for the day. We love taking care of you so you know it's going to be good!
Yes, it has rained some, but it has been fairly warm and mild so I must say it again: Get out and enjoy this beautiful place we live!

WSWS is the only wild animal hospital in the western Puget Sound. Demand for services increases daily and they need all the help they can get. Take Flight is a project that will build a waterfowl enclosure that will function as a state-certified oiled-bird treatment center. At the moment, only one other such facility exists in the state of Washington. Aside from saving oiled birds, this enclosure will help save the lives of thousands of waterfowl (ducks, cormorants, herons, killdeer, etc.) over the coming decades. Voting began June 1 - please help them win! They are even giving away prizes as incentives.
