The frogs are singing, the coyotes yipping, rabbits and birds are all building their Spring nests for the babies to be born.. and that is just in our yard!

I was going to write that while March came in like a Lamb it was most certainly going out like a Lion and yet today it is quiet and calm. I even see blue skies!

What a wonderful place we live!

Patty Murray came to the cafe to talk to a few small business owners about the state of our businesses, the economy, and what we would like to see by way of help from her. It was a quick meeting where she actively listened to our stories and seemed to be genuinely concerned. It was such an honor to have our place chosen as the meeting spot and we won't soon be forgetting about it!

There are still a couple of days left to order your Easter, Passover & Good Friday Goodies!

We are looking forward to some fabulous events this month, we hope to see you here and having fun!

You may be thinking "How can I help?"

Here is one small way:

"Jewelry Glitters with Hope for Homeless Women"!

Our favorite framer, Maria Mackovjak, invites us all to donate our cast-off or surplus jewelry, beads & baubles to help instill a sense of self-esteem and beauty among our less fortunate neighbors and homeless women.

Bring your old jewelry to her shop at 3295 Lowell St (the red building) and when she has enough compiled there will be a party! We can all get together to clean, repair, and make new jewelry out of the old, and really brighten someone's day.

If you can't make it over to Old Town Custom Framing you can always drop it off at Monica's and we will get it to the right place.

This is a great cause!

Every woman deserves to feel beautiful!!
