March is in like a lion... albeit a drowsy, well-fed lion. If the saying holds true we can look forward to it going out like a lamb! I picture a frolicking lamb, bouncing tigger-like across the verdant field...but maybe that is just me.
I know that Spring is waking because my pretty spring flowers are peeking out of my garden, the grass is more lush and green, and the chorus of frogs who sing me to sleep this time of year is as loud and joyous as it can be. Beethoven must have had a frog bog nearby when he set music to Schiller's "Ode to Joy".
I hope you are able to get out and enjoy this prelude to Spring. Change is in the air and it is a good time to breathe deeply and go with the flow.

It's so easy to help out, all you have to do is eat at Monica's! Simply enjoy your meal, either in house or to-go, and we will give this great cause money on your behalf, by donating a portion of the day's sales to benefit The Kitsap Food Co-op.
Members of the Co-op will be here to answer your questions and offer information about this project if you want to talk with them.
Later on you can join the Cooperators on the Old Town Art Walk! It is a wonderful way to spend the evening enjoying local art, connecting with neighbors and getting to know your community a little bit better.
And speaking of the Art Walk, don't forget to bring in donations for the food bank and homeless shelters so you can get your cookie or a taste of our house wine!
