WE HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMERS EVER!
And so much has happened this past month to prove it!
First we had our newsletter contest where many of you forwarded our newsletter to your friends and families. Chelsea Browning is the drawing winner and she gets the free pound of coffee. All of you get our thanks and appreciation for spreading our word around and we hope you continue to do so!
Then we found out that the Central Kitsap Reporter had a contest where their readers could fill in their favorite places in Central Kitsap. We were nominated into the top 3 finalists, in the categories of Best Bakery and Best Dessert! We are so excited about this!
The awards ceremony is on October 17th, and we will find out who won first place in each category at that time. Right now we really understand that phrase that we have heard so often "it's an honor just to be nominated", because it really is!
We would love it if you joined us at the awards ceremony, since it is always more fun to celebrate with the people we love around us.

FUNDRAISING DINNER AT MORMOR BISTRO
John Nesby, owner of MorMor Bistro in Poulsbo, told me this amazing story about a man who is a true hero.
This man is John Eiffert, who was in an accident involving a train earlier this year, and he lost part of his leg. While laying in his hospital bed trying to heal his body, mind and spirit, he came up with a wonderful idea.
He formed the Good Spirit Guild, in order to help children who are in need of prosthetics, get financial help in acquiring them.
Then Nesbys offered to do a fundraiser dinner for John's medical bills, and he said that instead he wanted to raise the money for the Guild.
We have been asked to provide the dessert at this 4-course dinner, so we jumped at the chance!
Please join us on Sunday, October 7th, at 5 pm
Mark and I will be at MorMor for the dinner, silent auction, entertainment, and fabulous food! You can make your reservation by emailing John Nesby.
The dinner is $75 per person, with all proceeds going to the Good Spirit Guild.
