A Four Course Wine Dinner!

Calling all lovers! Lovers of great food and wine, that is! If you haven't been to one of our dinners you are way past your due. If you have joined us before then you know what a treat you are in for!

 
The evening starts with a light reception, where you will enjoy some lovely nibbles and something sparkly in your glass.

As always the table will be set Italian family style, and there will be a bounty of fabulous food, stimulating conversation, and wonderful wines.

 

The Menu

 

We will start you off with our crisp and refreshing Waldorf Slaw, and a piece of roasted sweet white corn.

Next you will be 'mmm'-ing your way through our rich and creamy Baked Pasta with Five Cheeses .

The main course this month is St. Louis Style Pork Ribs, spice rubbed and tea smoked to mouth melting perfection. Mark's Spicy Bean Medley and Court's Super Corn Bread will have you licking the plate clean.

Mark will bake a fresh Peach and Blueberry Crisp, using juicy, local fruit, and we will top it with Olympic Mountain Vanilla Ice Cream!

The price is $75 per person, and is all-inclusive of tax and tip.

Space is very limited

 

Reservations are required and if anyone cancels, we will call those on the waiting list for an opportunity to join us.

 

A credit card will hold your reservation. We will not charge the card and you will pay the night of the dinner any way that you choose.

Late cancellations will be charged the full amount, unless someone on the waiting list takes your place, in which case there will be no charge for the cancelled reservation.

Our last dinner was on June 23rd, and what a ball we all had! Abundant food and wine with lots of great stories made it a very memorable evening.

We have teamed up with Seattle's own Small Vineyards Imports to find our wines for us, because we love how they do business. They believe that the best wines come from vineyards that are not drive by a 'corporate mentality', but by an earnest desire to capture the fullest gift that their vines have to offer. Small Vineyards Italian Imports feels it is their greatest honor to import the wines of these fine families and artisans. Why? Because it is their life's work! It is their name on the bottle. It is their work of art. The passion of these winemakers shows in their unique production of quality, hand-harvested, earth-friendly wines.

Small Vineyards sent Marie Feris into our midst to present the wines at our dinners, and we just love her! Marie finds herself just as passionate about these wines as the winemakers themselves! When asked what she does for a living she replies "I'm a glorified story teller." Her interest in wine began in the restaurant industry, where she worked for six years. Marie believes that the importance of wine is in the experience. One can experience so many things with a glass of wine: family, friends, loved ones, and of course FOOD. In her line of work, she hopes that she adds to the wine experience through stories and knowledge.
