Laura Knoth, KyCGA executive director, said NASCAR
partnered with Growth Energy and the National Corn Growers
Association to promote the domestic fuel. The ethanol for the races
will be produced at a Sunoco-owned plant in New York and then
transported to each race.
"Corn growers have long known about the benefits of
corn-based ethanol ," said Knoth.
"Now 75 million NASCAR fans will know about
American ethanol, too."
