Welcome to the first monthly e-blast from the Blue Line Gallery exclusively for artists. This mid-month message will update you with information about exciting artist activities and opportunities here at the gallery.
If you are not already an Artist Auxiliary member, please note that you will need to join to take advantage of discounts on upcoming workshops and exhibit entry fees, for free entry in the 2011 Juried Membership Show, and to take advantage of other exclusive Artist Auxiliary benefits. We will work with you during this transition time to align your Auxiliary renewal with the renewal date of your regular membership. |

2011 Photography Open - Roseville Arts' Blue Line Gallery seeks entries
for a juried photography exhibition with awards, exhibiting January 15 -
February 12, 2011. Juror, Lewis Kemper, Canon Explorer of Light. $300 Best of Show. Up to 3 images/$35
($30 Roseville Arts Artist Auxiliary Members); $5 each additional. Online submission only. Deadline: November
15, 2010

New Beginnings-
Your Artist Panel of volunteer peers are announcing this call for
entries for the first 2011 member exhibit in the back gallery, opening
January 15th. Open to all Artist Auxiliary members. Enter one piece
through our online submission process
(starting October 20). Interpret the "New Beginnings" theme as broadly
as you wish. This exhibit is intended to exhibit as many artists as we
have room for, salon style installation. Deadline: November 20, 2010.
Vistas- The Artist Panel invites you to enter your favorite "Vistas" for this
second 2011 exhibit in the back gallery, opening February 19th. Open to
all Artist Auxiliary members. Juried by the Artist Panel. Enter up to
five pieces, online submission only (starting October 20). Deadline: December 20, 2010.
2011 Juried Membership Show -
Roseville Arts invites you to enter its second annual Juried Membership
Show, opening at the Blue Line Gallery on March 1, 2011. Juror and
details TBA by November 1, 2010. Open to Roseville Arts Artist Auxiliary
members only; NO ENTRY FEE! Up to three entries; open to all original
art. Online submission only starting November 1, 2010. Deadline: January 15, 2011.

Life Drawing
-- Just started in August, these evening sessions with your fellow
artists are generally scheduled for every last Wednesday of the month
6-9pm. Help build demand for these sessions, and we can add more.
Wednesday, October 27, 6-9pm
Wednesday, December 8, 6-9pm
$10 members; $15 non-members
We
need a minimum of 6 to attend each session but also have limited space.
