Have you visited the website recently? If you have, you probably noticed some changes. Yes, re-vamped our website look and we hope you'll like it even more than before. We also have a new system for our calls to artists and Directory of Artists. So please browse around the website and do let us know what you think.

A Mile of Tape:

Interactive Installation by Danny Scheible
Downtown Tues Nites: July 6, 13, 20, 27, 5-8pm
3rd Saturday: July 17, 10am - 5pm



Danny Scheible's installation at the Blue Line Gallery consists
entirely of tape donated by the 3M company. It includes an
interactive opportunity for visitors to help install a mile of
ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape meandering across the gallery walls,
floor and ceiling, as well as a large masking tape installation
sculpted by Scheible.


Mastering the Six Skill Sets of Drawing

Learn the 6 skill sets of drawing in this back-to-back workshop. Offered by David Lobenberg, adjunct art professor at Sacramento City College. If you want to learn how to draw anything that you see or you want to vastly improve upon your drawing ability, then this two session workshop will prove invaluable. Each day, David will teach three skill sets. He is known for teaching with a sense of humor, and down to earth, easy to understand instruction.

LOTTERY for the ARTS!

After a very successful debut event, the Lottery for the Arts is back for a second year!
 
What is Lottery for the Arts ?
The Lottery for the Arts is a fund-raising event that provides art collectors with an opportunity to acquire original works of fine art, while supporting a non-profit organization and community of artists. During the Lottery event, tickets are drawn at random. As each ticket is called out, the ticket holder chooses a piece of art from the gallery walls. At the end of the evening, each ticket holder goes home with a work of art valued from $175 up to thousands of dollars.
