September 29, 2009 turned out to be a beautiful day for Young at Heart Pet Rescue's Mutt Mosey fundraiser walk! The weather was nice enough to cooperate, and Twin Lakes was taken over by 75 Mutt Mosey-ers and their four legged companions! Participants moseyed around the one mile walking path, giving pooches plenty of good things to sniff (not to mention ducks to bark at and squirrels to try and chase!). The lake made for a serene backdrop, though it may have been a bit tempting for those dogs who love to swim! Adults and kids alike moseyed along in support of Young at Heart and their homeless senior pets!

Everyone who decided to raise funds did a wonderful job, and prizes were awarded for the top fund-raisers. A special thanks to the board of directors for Young at Heart Pet Rescue, who collectively raised $3,216.25 for the Mutt Mosey (but of course, they are excluded from winning prizes!).
