FOR A HEALTHY WORKFORCE
The Seattle Coalition for a Healthy Workforce is holding a town hall on Paid Sick Days at the University Christian Church On May 11th. The University District StreetFair is the kick-off event for the festival season in the Seattle region. It is the longest running street festival in the nation. Self-described as "country fair meets urban retail corridor", the StreetFair attracts 50,000 attendees and over 350 craft, food and information booths to the District on the third weekend of May each year. The StreetFair is an energetic and exciting celebration of arts and crafts, community, music, and food. You'll find a whirl of color and creativity.
Join us in 2011 and celebrate our 42nd annual StreetFair. There will be three main stages featuring music, dance performance, comedy and more, a special children's area with age appropriate events, a wonderful medley of street performers and much more. The unique local and regional arts & crafts and an array of international food will delight you. The StreetFair is a free event, located in the heart of the University District of Seattle on University Way NE, and is produced by the Greater University Chamber of Commerce.

KING COUNTY DISTRICTING COMMITTEE
MEETING DATES & LOCATIONS ARE LISTED BELOW
The King County Districting Committee is hosting a series of community meetings about redrawing King County Council districts. The meetings are an opportunity to learn about how population has shifted in King County and to share your ideas and priorities for Council redistricting, which must be done to equalize population following each U.S. Census.
The meeting times and locations are:
