An early primary and a contested Democratic primary for Governor has made this election year especially long and hot, like our summer so far. Business leaders are especially interested in this election because they are concerned about the state's economy. They feel the ground shifting under their feet.
So, for the first time in our 20-year history, VBSR has provided our members with a report on how members of the Vermont House and Senate voted on issues that we had identified as being in the best interest of Vermont business. We prioritized these issues by surveying you, the membership, by convening groups of members to study the issues and with careful consideration of both our Public Policy Committee and Board of Directors.
We invite you to have a conversation with your elected representatives and candidates about these issues. Here's a link to VBSR's first-ever Legislative Scorecard.
