CAIWilsonCAM Construction Activity Index Update Construction Activity Index

In an effort to keep a pulse on the construction industry in Michigan, CAM launched a series of brief monthly surveys online - the CAM Construction Activity Index - which consists of the same questions each month. Gauged by Increase, Decrease or No Change, the questions include: Number of Projects Bid; Number of Projects Awarded; Materials Prices; Labor Rates; Size of Workforce; Industry Outlook: What do you anticipate for the next three months; and How Are Current Government Policies/Actions Affecting Your Company?

The CAM Construction Activity Index is ongoing each month. To take the survey, visit the main page of the CAM website by clicking here.

CAM launched the first Construction Activity Index in November 2010, and has gathered results and data since that time. Our consulting economist, Hartland-based Don Wilson, has accumulated and analyzed results thus far. Click here for the results and his complete story.
