Looks like when I did a sort, some of the numbers got jumbled!

  • The "Top Three" largest markets represent almost 50% of the Statewide room nights.
  • South Valley Salt Lake County shows the highest RevPAR at $73.86 and the second highest occupancy rate at 67.4%.
  • Cedar City has the lowest RevPAR at $43.33.
  • Utah Mountain Resorts have the highest Average Room Rate ($116.73), but the lowest Occupied Percentage rate (40.0%).
  • July 2007 registered the highest state-wide Occupancy Rate at 82.9 with April claiming the lowest at 62.7%.
  • State- wide occupancy rates are the lowest in January, April, May, November and December with Average room rates the lowest in April, May, June and November.
  • Meeting Planners Note: The months you should be planning your meetings and conventions are April, May, June and November!
  • Economic Development Planners Note: You should be encouraging local events, meetings and conventions only during the months of April, May, June and November!
