Acknowledge and confess to our Heavenly Father that this is just another manifestation of escalating hatred from our enemy, forcing us to accept abominations and distortion of the truth and walk contrary to God's law. Ask the Lord to strengthen these chaplains to withstand the abuse, threats, possible job loss and/or punishment most likely to arise from their stand against evil.

A national group representing more than 2,000 military chaplains from evangelical Christian and Orthodox backgrounds joined Catholic clerics last week to say that the Pentagon has launched a "direct assault" on marriage, and the chaplains they endorse will not be allowed to perform same-sex wedding ceremonies under any circumstances.

Dr. Ron Crews, executive director of the newly formed Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty, said his 2,000-plus membership is concerned about a Sept. 30 Pentagon memorandum that authorizes chaplains and military chapel facilities to be used for "any private ceremony," a move that contradicts current federal law, the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

"By dishonestly sanctioning the use of federal facilities for 'marriage counterfeits' that federal law and the vast majority of Americans have rejected, the Pentagon has launched a direct assault on the fundamental unit of society - husband and wife," Dr. Ron Crews said.

Homosexual marriages are an abomination to God and cannot be performed by true and faithful Christian ministers of the Gospel. There is no way of compromising God's Word and law on this matter. The Pentagon's upper leadership must examine and reconsider this spiritual impasse and change its laws to comply with federal laws and more importantly God's eternal law. The Constitution is clear. Each of us -- no matter how vile our deeds -- is entitled to due process under law. Offer prayer that this "kill list" will be dealt with by responsible leaders who will honor our Constitution. Pray that all who occupy the White House will understand the importance of honoring our national heritage, reminded of our Founders' intention that our nation must be governed by LAW rather than the whims of men.

American militants like Anwar al-Awlaki are placed on a kill or capture list by a secretive panel of senior U.S. government officials, which then informs the president of its decisions, according to U.S. officials. There is no public record of the operations or decisions of the panel, which is a subset of the White House's National Security Council, several current and former officials said. Neither is there any law establishing its existence or setting out the rules by which it is supposed to operate. The panel was behind the decision to add Awlaki, a U.S.-born militant preacher with alleged al Qaeda connections, to the target list. He was killed by a CIA drone strike in Yemen late last month. The role of the president in ordering or ratifying a decision to target a U.S. citizen is fuzzy. White House spokesman Tommy Vietor declined to discuss anything about the process. The U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee voted last week to strip $50 million from a United Nations organization that provides women's health care overseas. The U.N. Population Fund (UNFPA) is a 40-year-old group the U.S. helped create to deal with population issues in developing countries -- such as poverty, sexually transmitted diseases, safe pregnancies and infant survival rates. But in addition to sex education and contraceptive-distribution programs, the group also helps to coerce abortions and sterilizations in nations enforcing restrictive family-size policies.  

The 23-17 vote broke along party lines. The Kemp-Kasten provision of 1985 has allowed presidents to withhold funding from any organization supporting forced abortions -- and Republican administrations always have. Restoring UNFPA funding was one of abortion promoter Obama's first executive orders upon taking office in January 2009, costing taxpayers $145 million dollars to slaughter thousands of innocent unborn children.

The legislation -- H.R. 2059 -- was introduced by Rep. Renee Ellmers, R-N.C. H.R. 2059 which will save $400 million over the next 10 years if it is approved by Congress. (Contributor: CitizenLink)

Our nation's leaders will then be able to see firsthand the humanity of the child and the fact that we must do all that we can to protect the weakest members of our society and stand for human rights."

Global Day of Worship (GDW) is a call for a unified, global worship movement to see the name of Jesus Christ lifted up throughout the earth. In these tumultuous times, it is in worship and adoration of Jesus that brings hope, unity and His kingdom on earth.   

GDW will be a day that will unify many streams and denominations within the body of Christ. It will not be done through a common venue or expression, but in an orchestrated time of turning our affection to Jesus. We can worship individually or in large gatherings, through solemn expressions of love or loud and joyful celebrations. We can sing hymns and choruses or engage in free flowing radical worship. We were all created to love Jesus so, on this day, let us uniquely express our love to Him in unity around the globe.   

This day is not focused on asking, or petitioning the Lord, but a day we simply gaze upon His beauty, express our gratitude and love for Him and declare his attributes and goodness in our lives, families, communities and nations.    

On 11.11.11, utilizing the 24 time zones around the world, we will agree with and join with the 24 Elders (Rev 4) already worshiping Jesus around the throne room. It is when the worship of heaven meets the worship of earth that the spiritual climate of nations will shift in preparation for His return. In Rev 4:10-11, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."   

On 11.11.11, for one hour, (7-8 p.m.) in the 24 time zones starting at the International Dateline, we will begin a day of celebration and exalting Jesus around the globe. As in the ushering of a new year, every hour will focus on new time zone participants streaming their unique expressions of worship to a central website showing our diversity, individuality, yet unity in love for Jesus Christ.     

The purity of the mission is twofold:

1) Love and worship our Lord Jesus Christ, and 2) To grow in love, honor and appreciation for the Body of Christ.

Some people have mistaken the mission of Karl Marx and his followers as purely economic in nature, but like all other materialists their mission was to gain power through ideological warfare. In a declared war against morals, ethics, and spiritual values among the people, Marx and his associates resolved to completely eliminate the worship of the Almighty among men. Heinrich Heine declared:

Ask the Lord to open the eyes of those who are being manipulated into civil unrest by politically motivated backroom organizers who have an agenda to transform America. On the U.S. Capitol area grounds in Washington D.C. we had the arrest of rowdy demonstrators in the U.S. Senate Hart Building.

Boston Police say they arrested 129 people after demonstrators left their base camp and occupied an area of the Rose Kennedy Greenway that was off-limits.

A man fell to his death from the top of a parking structure during the Occupy San Diego protest Monday. Information released by the county's medical examiner overnight suggests the man was trying to hang flyers on the outside walls of the San Diego Concourse parking structure around 3:30 p.m. when he lost his balance and fell to his death.

A Chicago march sponsored by the Chicago Teachers Union targeted two banking conferences that are now in town - the Mortgage Bankers Association Convention and the Futures and Options Expo. The groups converged at the hotels where conventioneers are staying and other strategic locations.

Their demand: Forgive Student Debt.

These students entered into a financial agreement to pay back a loan so that they could get an education that cost a considerable amount of money, and then they do not want to honor their agreements. So they blame the banks for their own dishonoring of a binding agreement.

A lengthy video posted online over the weekend showed what happened when the Democratic congressman tried to address an "assembly" of protesters in his home state. Instead of giving the floor to a man who is not just a longtime U.S. representative but a revered civil rights icon, the protesters employed a tangle of parliamentary procedures to ultimately prevent him from speaking. This technique is an old Marxist ploy. It all hinges on the mob controlling the outcome.

This video will show a stunned Congressman Lewis trying to figure out what this scheming megaphone carrier was trying to do. He could be seen watching the whole thing unfold. The end result was that Congressman Lewis did not get to speak to the protesters.

Observe the actions of those attending these "Occupy" activities and note what is really taking place.

America is about to experience the same youth-driven, hyper-networked wave of grassroots protests against economic inequality and political oligarchy that have been rocking countries as disparate as Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, Greece and Spain.

The occupation of the Wisconsin state legislature last winter was a harbinger, but now all kinds of previously disconnected individuals -- loosely centered on a core of troublemakers and inspired by events and methods honed overseas - are linking up to occupy important, symbolic centers. An explosion of these events across America includes Wall Street in downtown Manhattan 15 days ago, the Chicago area a week ago, the Federal Reserve building in Boston last weekend as well as MacPherson Square in Washington, DC, the city hall in Los Angeles, and more than 100 locations. The Supreme Court began its new term on Monday, issuing a lengthy list of orders on cases it had been asked to consider. Of particular interest were the Court's orders on the following topics:

Ten Commandments courtroom display - The Court declined to take up DeWeese v. ACLU, a case in which the Court was asked to consider the constitutionality of a Ten Commandments poster displayed by an Ohio Court of Common Pleas judge in his courtroom. The poster was called "Philosophies of Law in Conflict" and contrasted the Ten Commandments, labeled "Moral Absolutes," with excerpts from sources like the Humanist Manifesto, labeled "Moral Relatives." The display also contained the judge's statements of support for the Moral Absolutes: "I join the Founders in personally acknowledging the importance of Almighty God's fixed moral standards for restoring the moral fabric of this nation." The Sixth Circuit held that the poster violated the Establishment Clause, and Judge DeWeese petitioned the Supreme Court to reverse the circuit court's ruling.

Utah roadside cross memorials - The Court neither denied nor granted certiorari in Davenport v. American Atheists, but instead held it over for further consideration. This means the Court could decide to take it up at a later date. The American Atheists sued the state of Utah challenging the constitutionality of crosses placed on Utah roadsides to honor fallen state troopers. With Utah's permission, a private nonprofit organization had placed the cross memorials at sites where state troopers had been killed in the line of duty. Twenty states joined Utah in asking the Supreme Court to hear the case after the Tenth Circuit held the crosses were unconstitutional because they caused a reasonable observer to believe the state was endorsing a specific religion.
