Linda Zuk Discusses Work/Life Balance at the October Breakfast | |
At the October 20, 2011 breakfast meeting the Section welcomed Linda Zuk from Fast Forward Progress, who spoke about maintaining Work/Life Balance. Focusing on Achievement and Enjoyment every day helps you avoid the "As Soon As" trap, the habit of planning on getting around to the joys of life and accomplishment "as soon as...." A good working definition of Work-Life Balance is: "Meaningful Daily Achievement and Enjoyment in every area of my life: Work, Family, Friends and Self." Achievement doesn't have to be the completion of an entire project. You can experience achievement when you complete a part of a project. Read the entire article |
