Welcome to the final EAC Update for 2011. If your year was like mine it seemed that the last 12 months has gone by in the blink of an eye. I thought this would be a good opportunity to round up the year and inform you all on some important news on recent happenings and developments for the New Year.

realestateworld.com.au Publications Update & New Year Timetable 

Realestateworld.com.au publications have registered a record breaking December, with the Illawarra Christmas edition recording 156 pages. The Northern Rivers edition in conjunction with the Mid North Coast and recently added Clarence Valley offices also contributed a further 124 pages in the largest real estate distribution footprint in NSW. Its been another year where I must congratulate advertising offices in all editions on supporting the Industry publication that has become second to none in their respective areas. I have to admit that the satisfaction I get from seeing agents working together to ensure that offline print pricing does not reach the ridiculous levels of the recent past is immense. The New Year will see EAC exploring new areas to expand realestateworld.com.au publications in an aim to assist our Industry even further.

realestateworld.com.au Website Update
The last 6 months has seen realestateworld.com.au hit new heights with 70% more offices advertising, 60% more property listings and 42% more visitors searching. I still continually receive reports from offices that they are now receiving as much inquiry from realestateworld.com.au than they are from several of the major sites!  

 

We continue to add new feeds into and out of our system and of note is the recent addition of an upload by the L J Hooker network to the site.  

 

The New Year will see several developments in relation to the site's look and feel, as well as enhancements that will make the Pro Package even more of an advantage to subscribe too.   

 

Red Square Web Update
In the first quarter of next year we will be rolling out several updates and developments to our services. These will begin with an update to Red Square Web and Mapping which will include several enhancements and the inclusion of some twelve new reports including brochures, flyers and booklet style reports.

The redevelopment of our Add List is coming along nicely and it has been developed from scratch and of note are the changes to the Business and Commercial Industrial For Sale and Lease sections. In February 2012 we will have several very special announcements regarding the launch of new Red Square Web products. I cannot say too much now, but I am sure you all will be impressed.

EAC 2012 Industry Update Seminars
February will see the launch of the Bi-Annual EAC Industry Update Seminars across all major rural and metropolitan areas of NSW. This not to be missed event is a perfect opportunity for Agency Principals as well as Sales and Property Management staff to catch up on the latest Industry issues and developments affecting your business.
