America Unplugged Event - April 22nd |
 On April 22nd, NewsTalk 1420 hosts Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt, along with state representative Josh Mandel will be in town to discuss the Obama Administration, the economy, congress, health care and the war on terror as part of the America Unplugged Tour.
All of them are ready to entertain, inform and educate us with a look at the first year of the Obama presidency - its successes, failures, and present and future concerns. This event will be an evening where you'll hear Medved and Hewitt LIVE, in-person without commercial interruption giving their opinions on the issues and taking your questions.
This one night event will be at the luxurious Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights. For ticket information,click on the title of this event once more. Ticketst are just $99 per person for the VIP dinner that begins at 6pm and includes an elegant dinner and your picture taken with both Medved and Hewitt. Seth Morgan to Speak at Cleveland City Club - April 26th |
Seth Morgan, CPA, State Representative and Republican Party-endorsed candidate for State Auditor, will particiapte at a Republican Discussion Table on Monday, April 26th at the Cleveland City Club.
 In 2001, Mr. Morgan ran and was elected to, the position of Huber Heights City Council, representing Ward 3. He first took office in January 2002 and, at the age of 23, became the youngest Council member ever to represent the citizens of Huber Heights. In 2004 he was selected by his peers to serve as the City's youngest ever Vice-Mayor. Seth was reelected in 2005 to the Huber Heights City Council, and in 2006 Seth was a candidate for Montgomery County Auditor.
Mr. Morgan was elected in 2008 to serve as the Ohio State Representative for the 36th District, serving northern and western portions of Montgomery County.

Strongsville Republican Club May Meeting - May10th |
 Our May meeting will be held at the Strongsville branch of the Cuyahoga County Library ( 18700 Westwood Drive) on Monday, May 10th at 7PM.
Our topic this evening will be a recap of the May primary results and a discussion on Cuyahoga County reform. More details to follow.

Mike Astrab - RPCC Volunteer of the Year |
 Congratulations to Mike Astrab, former vice president of the Strongsville Republican Club, for being named the 2009 Robert E. Hughes Volunteer of the Year award. Mike was honored at the recent Republican Party of Cuyahoga County Lincoln Day Dinner for his exemplary efforts on behalf of the party.
Mike is also a candidate for Common Pleas Court Judge in Cuyahoga County and is unopposed in the Republican primary. His campaign website is here: http://astrab4judge.wordpress.com .
