 Greetings!

Bunnicula sneaks into CATS Friday, October 23

Bunnicula 2
Told from the point of view of a dog named Harold, this story starts when Harold's human family, the Monroes, goes to see the movie Dracula and young Toby accidentally sits on a baby rabbit wrapped in a bundle on his seat. How could the family help but take the rabbit home and name it Bunnicula?

Chester, the literate, sensitive and keenly observant family cat, soon decides there is something weird about this rabbit. Pointy fangs, the appearance of a cape, black-and-whlte coloring, nocturnal habits ... it sure seemed like he was a vampire bunny. When the family finds a white tomato in the kitchen sucked dry and colorless, well ... Chester becomes distraught and fears for the safety of the family. "Today, vegetables. Tomorrow - the world!" he warns Harold. But when Chester tries to make his fears known to the Monroes, he is misunderstood, and the results are truly hilarious.

Is Bunnicula really a vampire bunny? We can't say. But any child who has ever let his or her imagination run a little wild will love Deborah and James Howe's funny, fast-paced "rabbit-tale of a mystery."

CATS continues the family prices for the tickets, making this an all-around Halloween good family entertainment option. Check all new pricing and buy tickets online at the CATS Tickets page.
Spring classes being planned

CAll Fall classes continue through May; new Spring classes begin in January

CATS Fall classes have barely run a month and it's already time to begin to think about Spring classes. The new classes, which open in January when classes resume after the holidays, are being planned now. News of the class options, along with prices and registration details, will be broadcast in the next month.

Watch the Spring Classes webpage to explore the new classes. When they are posted online, you can call CATS to register or submit an online registration on that page.
CATS Upcoming Auditions

Auditions are open for CATS Students and, occasionally, Open to All

CATS 2009-2010 season has begun, with two shows already cast. Other shows are being planned and will be holding auditions every month through May.

"CATS productions focus on giving CATS students opportunities to practice their performance skills," reports Kathey Ward, Artistic Director. "We want kids to learn how to act on-stage in front of live audiences."

Some productions open to the community and sometimes non-CATS actors are added when a script needs adults.

Check out the Audition page to explore the audition opportunities.
