Today Is National Reading Day!

In celebration of National Read Day -- ARCH is offering a link to our Recommended Reading Lists.  These lists include some of our favorite PARENTING books!

Recommended Reading list, Cell Phone & Driving Contract templates are all found under the "Parent Information TAB" on the ARCH WEBSITE

The next ARCH monthly meeting is being held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.  We meet from 9-10:15 am at the T/E Administrative Offices in Wayne.  All are welcome.

Discover what research indicates about the foods that benefit teen wellness in an age of chemical enhancements. Our experts impart an informative plan for distinguishing the nourishing from the harmful with skill and ease. This session will provide answers to your meal-planning questions.

Science-Based Strength and Endurance: Gaining the Competitive Edge on Youth Fitness

This program is aimed at parents of kids 6-12 years old

Session Description:

Wii Fit vs.Tag.  Facebook vs.Wiffle Ball. Can sports compete with technology and can technology help sports? How can we present appealing fitness activities to get children off the couch and onto the field? Regular exercise is crucial to healthy physical, mental and social development. Join our panel for an exploration of fun, effective activities that stimulate children optimally to get them fit. Understand how to inspire children to appreciate and crave beneficial active play.
