TOP 10 Comp Carrier tentatively commits
to the National WorkersComp Clearinghouse
Worcester, MA.....A top 10 national workers compensation carrier has tentatively committed to joining the National WorkersComp Clearinghouse. According to Jim Paugh, President of WorkersComp Analytics LLC, "We believe this demonstrates the strong value proposition associated with membership in the Clearinghouse and a continuing desire on the part of insurance carriers to leave no stone unturned to develop better claim outcomes for America's injured workers."
This tentative commitment joins a national third party administrator among others for a planned early 2012 launch of the Clearinghouse. The National WorkersComp Clearinghouse will bring a preponderance of data approaching 2,000,000 claims affording subscribers deep insight into benchmarks, key performance indicators and other on-the-fly analytics. The initial data set used does not contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Protected health information (PHI), thus making it easier to participate.
Paugh added, "this is a significant step in the creation of the Clearinghouse. Now, not only does it have legs, but it shows that it is ready to run and that other carriers, service providers and self insureds can feel confident in joining!"
