The Courage to....recognize that you will sometimes fail.

Courageous leaders know that things can go wrong. But rather than be paralyzed by the thought of mistakes, these leaders plan for success and failure. Here's a group training activity that shows how it's done.

Recommended Training Resource: Leaders of Character: Leadership - The West Point Way depicts how, from their first day to their last, West Point cadets learn and apply crucial leadership principles that lead to personal integrity and organizational success...including how to modify a plan when necessary and learn from failure.

The Courage to....stand firm (even when it's tough to do so)

Courageous leaders demonstrate a kind of intestinal fortitude. They work past their fears and are willing to stand up for what they believe is right. This article gives food for thought and helpful tips on how to develop this inner strength.
