On June 27, DRN sent out an alert asking for your comments and input regarding its proposed Priorities for FY 2013. There is still time to submit your comment and input. As we told you in that alert, the staff and Board of the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania have engaged in a priority-setting process designed to identify the major issues that will be at the core of the work the Disability Rights Network does during the next three years. These efforts have resulted in the creation of a proposed set of priorities, along with implementing goals and objectives, which if approved by the Board will become effective on October 1, 2012.

We want to hear from you about these proposed priorities, goals, and objectives. Is there an issue of importance that you think is not included? Do you think the Disability Rights Network should be working more on some issues than others? Less on some issues than others? Where should our limited legal and advocacy resources be directed to most effectively assist people with disabilities in Pennsylvania?

Please let us know your views. All comments are welcome and will be carefully reviewed and considered in creating the final document that will be presented for approval to the DRN Board of Directors.
