PSAD Bylaw amendments

 

The VLOG will explain the concept of the PSAD Bylaws Amendments.

I wanted to take the time to thank the Bylaws committee, Nelson Boyer, Martin Caha, Paul Mente, Patty Stroud and Chris Noschese for working hard on developing the new policies that we take out from old bylaws.

In our current bylaws stated:

ARTICLE VII - Amendments

Section 1: These bylaws may be amended at the annual meeting by a two-third (2/3) vote, provided that the amendment has been submitted in writing to the Bylaws committee at least sixty (60) days prior to annual meeting. The Bylaws committee shall send the proposed amendments to the membership thirty (30) days prior to annual meeting.

 

The bylaw amendments must be submitted to Bylaws committee by June 17, 2012 in order to consider for amendment at the annual meeting at PSAD Conference August 17th.

 

The bylaws chairperson Jeff will distribute to Bylaws Committee the written amendment. Please send the amendment to psadjeff@comcast.net

 

The policies doesn't required 60 days prior to annual meeting. The changes in policies can be made on the floor at the annual meeting.
