Caroline Miller-Solomon
Dr. Carrie Miller-Solomon is a 2-time Deaflympian (1989 & 1993)
who won 13 gold medals in swimming and set the
World Record in the 100 Fly
(which recently was bypassed by .13 of a second).
A native of Delaware, Carrie attended DSD.
After high school, Carrie attended Harvard University
graduating in 1996 with a degree in environmental Science & Public Policy.
Following a year in Australia as a Fullbright Scholar
studying the Great Barrier Reef,
Carrie continued her education culminating with a PhD in Biological Oceanography
from the University of Maryland.
Carrie is presently a professor of Biology at Gallaudet University.
