PSAD NEWS E-Zine Press Release

Studying Workplace Needs for those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

In a study recently completed by the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Workplace Accommodations (Work RERC), results indicate that sharing ideas in different group settings is a potential workplace barrier for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is gathering more information to help address this issue.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, please click here to take a 15 minute survey that asks about how you share ideas and information with your co-workers in different group settings.

Feel free to forward this announcement to others who you think might be interested in taking the survey. The survey has been approved by Georgia Tech's Institutional Review Board.

If you have any questions, please contact Scott Haynes at scott.haynes@coa.gatech.edu.
