The Western PA School for the Deaf (WPSD) and the Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children (The Scranton School) Outreach Center  will host a free workshop for parents, professionals and anyone else who would like to attend on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 10am-noon.

The Title is "Carrying Learning Over Into The Home"

Use your family's natural routines to practice listening skills,
introduce vocabulary, or assess your child's comprehension skills.
This presentation will:
· Define routine-based learning
· Identify how to match the routine to the skill you want to practice
· Share tips on how to make the routine age-appropriate for your child

This workshop will be presented by Tara Nikou, our Choices for Children Early Intervention Coordinator.

This workshop will take place at: 3820 Hartzdale Drive in Camp Hill, PA
